Make yourself a stunning dragon necklace!  In this online class, you will go through the entire process of mixing colors, working out composition and design, sculpting, and assembling this art jewelry piece.

This class will show you how to incorporate beaded accents to your polymer clay work.  All the finishing touches to make the necklace will also be covered. 

You’ll be guided through every step of the way with lots and lots and lots of detailed photos coupled with Christi’s silly sense of humor.  As with all of Christi’s classes, the emphasis will be on adding your own creative flair and imaginative flourishes to make the piece truly your own.

Christi will be available throughout the class to answer questions, make suggestions and solve problems as you work on your masterpiece! 

Open to all skill levels, don’t be worried by how complicated it looks – this project is challenging but still easy!  And then you get to show it off – how fun will that be?!

Christi works in mixed media, combining polymer clay, glass, acrylic, found objects, gemstones and semi-precious stones, glass beads, pearls, precious metals, and pigments to make her unique sculptures and art jewelry. Her preference for polymer as her sculpting medium is a result of the versatility, durability, and unparalleled ease with which it can accommodate gems, pearls and stones. These are worked into the sculpture while the clay is uncured, thus allowing for a very organic design in which the stones are an integrated into the design. The medium is also colorfast and lightweight.
